The illusion returns at Amurrio’s stand at Rail Live 2021

After two years of restrictions, isolation and digital contacts, the two days of RailLive 2021 (30/11 to 1/12) were like a breath of fresh air.

The rail industry was finally able to give free rein to the desire we all had to get back in touch, while of course respecting the security measures decreed by the health authorities at all times.

With an attendance of exhibitors and public that we can qualify as a resounding success in such uncertain times as we live in, smiles could be seen behind the masks. And the scrupulous elbow or fist contacts replaced the old handshakes in the reunions with acquaintances and friends at the Amurrio stand.

In the necessary review of the stands of the other exhibitors we were happily surprised to find that the railway sector has not lost its momentum with the pandemic, but has continued to innovate, in view of the many innovations that have been presented.

It has also been a pleasure to resume live attendance at talks and conferences by speakers of interest. In this aspect it is worth mentioning the fluidity with which the physical presence of some speakers has been integrated with the virtual presence of others. And above all, the naturalness with which we have come to accept it.

The organization, in charge of Terrapin and Mafex, has been impeccable, both in terms of infrastructure, media, content and exhibitors.

We can only hope that the success of this meeting will be repeated at future events in the railway sector.

We will meet again at RailLive 2023 in Madrid!
