AMURRIO has participated in the extension of Line 3 of the Madrid Metro, which recently came into service.
The contribution of the company from Alava has consisted of the design, manufacture, pre-assembly and supply of two double crossovers equipped with DelkorEGG X8 fastening plates.
This system includes the fastening of the rail to the concrete slab track plate by means of direct vulcanized fastenings, with rubber cushioning.
In this way, the fastenings used achieve high noise and vibration attenuation.
The low static and dynamic stiffness of the material used results in high fatigue strength and a service life in excess of 30 years.
Their qualities, especially the low noise and vibration levels, make them ideal for use on urban rail routes, whether surface or subway.
EGG X8 fasteners have been developed by AC engineers.
